Rob Peterson  --  Vice President Business Development

Mr. Peterson, a co-founder of Tri County Rail, is the Vice President of Business Development.  He manages all partner development and strategic marketing and sales efforts for the Company.  Mr. Peterson is responsible for all strategic activities such as the planning capital investment program, public affairs, national marketing programs, government relations, and activities which impact the entire organization such as information services and human resources.  He is also responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, growing the business by developing new business or by acquisitions, and leading on major contractual negotiations.  In this capacity, he directs all marketing activities in support of our project development and organizational activities. These include market research and analysis, lead generation, front-end development and management of our participation in industry conferences. In addition, he is responsible for relationship building with a variety of external organizations and clients.

Mr. Peterson received his B.S. degree in Business Administration majoring in both Logistics Management and Marketing.  As an undergrad, he was a member of a logistics consulting group that performed detailed supply-chain studies for Fortune 500 companies.  Also, while an undergrad, he interned with the Lead Logistics Provider (LLP) for Toyota Motor Manufacturing of North America.  Prior to co-founding TCRC, he spent 3 years with one of the nation's largest LLP's, serving the automotive industry (specifically, General Motors) in various management positions of increasing responsibilities.

George Rupert  --  Vice President Operations

Mr. Rupert, a co-founder of Tri County Rail, is the Vice President of Operations.  He manages all aspects of transportation, operations, facilities, supply chain, customer service, maintenance, labor relations, environmental, and health and safety procedures and strategies.  He is directly responsible for the execution of all new business strategies and the day-to-day running of the business.

Early in his career, Mr. Rupert worked with the nations largest private truckload carrier leading the start-up of new business opportunities.  Prior to co-founding TCRC, he spent 10 years with one of the nation's largest LLP's, serving the automotive industry in various operations management positions.
